I'm at the part under the church, and I have been trying for hours to get passed the stupid bug part.. i got passed it once, but then got killed after that..
it does not seem to register EVERY click of the "C" button.. what the hell? im done with that game.. if there's no cheat code just to pass ONE seen, im done with it... because it's bad enough the controller sometimes registers the WRONG direction... (i have tried multiple controllers, and even different consoles and an emulator.. ALL do the same, there's a bug with the coding in that part that doesn't register every push of the Attack button)

How did you get up to that point in an amulator? Are you able to transfer your save files? I haven't had any of the problems you state, but I recommend patience. Snatcher is worth it. I recommend getting a Justifier light gun.

used a RAM cart, dumped the RAM cart to a .bin, and used it in an emulator..
my patience already went out.. let's just say i need a new controller ;)

Hehe. I played through the bug part several times, but the game stopped working in the middle of the ending sequence :D. After shining the disc with some toothpaste, I could see the whole thing at last.

well, what pissed me off, is that, while it does let you continue after a game over, only to an extent!
after i got through the bug part, i then had to blast away snatchers (that part was easy, those bugs cheat! they hop to different parts of the screen)
and then after that, i walked into a room, where i saw a shadow, it put me into battle mode, so i thought i had to shoot.. then to find out it was jamie, then it gave me game over, with NO more continues! so if i wanted to play again, i have to go through the whole sequence all over again, cause it didn't let me freakin save..
i need the gun thingy...

I remember the bug part was annoying. Just try again and don't shoot Jamie this time...

yea, but if i get another game over (too many of them), i have to go through the Gillian tell Metal to go convince people video... all over again, and you can't skip it either..

Seeing Metal Gear at the ending will be worth it, promise!

once i meet up with Jamie, will I even be able to save? I mean, im supposed to use Metal Gear to "record my progress"..
it will suck if I can't save, be 30 minutes later and die, and not have a save point...

IIRC, my last save was right before the bugs. After that, the snatchers come, then Jamie comes. Then you see the ending.

hmm, interesting, cause it told me that i had "30 minutes", after I get Jamie.. i get a 30 minute video clip? cool..

Can't beat the ending to Snatcher, if you ask me. Talk about perfect. Kojima, I love you! Marry me so you can tell me awesome bed time stories.

the only flaw to the ending: it needs a pause button..
i got yelled at cause i didn't sit with the family for dinner, cause i was busy watching the ending...

Yeah! The ending has got to be at least half an hour long. Then again, what do you expect? It is Kojima-san, he loves cinema uninterrupted!
