Never thought I'd find a fanpage for this show - it's from where the 'Sonic-compatible' Scorpion clone video originated. Horrible 90s hair, horrible 90s clothes, but for what it was, Bad Influence wasn't half bad.

It's also got a ton of video captures of interesting features - there's a short Sonic & Knuckles review, a look at the cost of importing consoles, and a feature about a classic game collector (yeah, in 1993...) Hell, it's worth it for the bright, optimistic view of the World Wide Web. :)

I can tell you that I miss the 1990's very much. And I still have the same hair style!

I, too, miss the 1990's. In general, really.

Having never been to England I can't say I've ever seen or heard of this...ever...but it looks fun, in a nostalgic kinda way.

90's hair > 80's hair.

I too miss the fun-loving 1990's....except I don't miss the "Macarena".

But this show looks better than "Nick Arcade" and "GamePro TV".

I remember watching Bad Influence as a sprog and seem to recall it being pretty damn awesome, although still not a fraction as awesome as Knightmare, which was the ultimate in UK Kids TV.

I didn't realise that the "Violet" character in Micro Machines '96 is based on Violet Berlin. :sorry:

YOU TAKE THAT BACK! Nick Arcade was the only reason I ever woke up on Sunday morning, and GamePro TV was awesome when I was...oh lord, I must've been 4 or so. Still, it did lead to JD Roth's illustrious stint hosting Masters of the Maze.

I can watch "Nick Arcade" any day of the week from 3am to 4 am and it sucks.

Although I do have a funny story from recent watchings:

There was some "cool" boy that had some "my shit don't stink" smile on his face and on the other team was a "nerdy" boy.

That nerdy kid totally dominated. He answered all questions (his partner was useless) and would have won the entire thing if his inept parter hadn't held him back in that end lame "game" segment.

His score was 425, other team had 75. Nerds rule.

But the show is only worth it to see the games on there being played in their "prime".

Or to see Sonic 2 beta being played.

I got tired of waiting for that episode to air.

Now i can just go play the version (or one similar) used on the show. :D
