have you ever played the puyo puyo games ?
ok puyo puyo is the same game as Dr MBM but with more nice graphics and very nice manga stuff....

Puyo Puyo 2 is the greatest Puzzle Game i have ever played on a system ! ( better than Twinkle Star Sprites ! )

it has more levels more combos and more fun then dr MBM on my homepage i have a pic with the offical puyopuyo championship poster in japan i love this game !

that is definitly a review you should write !

Puyo Puyo Tsuu (2) Review

Puyo Puyo Tsuu (2) (1994) is a Japan only Release. It cames 2 Years after Puyo Puyo (1992).
The Game is createt by Compile ( Lords of Thunder Mega CD, Musha Aleste, Robo Aleste )
The Word Tsuu means MASTER !

Story:

Ähhmm... Story ? Yes this Game had a Story ! But it's very strange... ( it's Japanese Anime !)
With Arle Nadja (aka Aruru) and her very strange Friend Carbucle, ( a yellow, Pokemon like Creature ) you must defeat all the bad guys in the Game. Your Rivals are Rulue, a magician and her big Love "Satan" (aka Dark Prince). She makes anything for him !
Other Opponents are: Skeleton T (it's a Skeleton), Suketoudara (a big Fish with Human arms and Legs !?), Sukiyapodes ( a Big Foot Baby !?), Baromett ( a Sheep in a Tomatoe), Caith Sith ( two Siam cats) and many more cute anime Characters ( over 30 ! ).

Gameplay:

Puyo Puyo 2 d'ont play's like a typical Puzzle Game... it's more a VS Fighting Game. You must sort up to 8 different colored Puyo's (Bean like Lifeforms) and try to fill your Enemy's Screen with black Puyo's

That sounds like Colums ?
No it's different ! In the Game are many Way's to do powerfull Combo moves !

- If you can clear the complete Screen, you gain an attack that will fill 1/2 of your Opponents Screen
- You can make Combo's (up to 6 Hits !) to attack.
- You can make Counter Attack's to stop falling black Puyo's
- Every Character has a different scream for every Combo and that sounds very funny !

I can not explain every move in Puyo Puyo tsuu ( there are too much)
In Japan you can buy many Guidebooks to learn all the secret's of making combos etc....


But d'ont cry ! i give you the ultimate move ! - 6 Combos

Any Letter is a different type of Color ! ( red, blue... )
The last Puyo you must put in is the Ä !
Don't give up if you can't handle it. That needs many hours of Training.

Buy it ! it's one of the Best Genesis Games and cost's just 10 $ !

PS When you start Puyo Puyo Tsuu there is a "Compile act against Aids screen" !
PSS in the Year 1996 where many Puyo Puyo Championships in Japan !

Hey now, Vorty.. danielsheil has told us very clearly that English is not his first language. That review is certainly not to the standards of the others of this site, but it's completely understandable why that is given the language barrier. The writing will definately need work to clean up, but just brushing it away as "pathetic" doesn't help anyone.

Anyways.. danielsheil, that review is a start. I'm sure that someone here can work with it to make it presentable. As it is, your review is mainly game strategy and objective game description without much in the ways of your opinions. Clearly you think that Puyo Puyo is incredible judging by the 10 out of 10 rating, but that score isn't strongly backed up with reasons. A big part of writing an effective review is making it very clear why your thoughts on a game are what they are, and your opinion of the game should be reflected in how the review is written.

I studied French all through highschool, and I know how hard I found it to write a comprehensive written work in another language. I knew my French wasn't flawless when I had to write in it, so I hope you understand that no one here expects you to be writing perfect English. It's good that you made the effort to write that Puyo Puyo review, even if it needs quite a lot of reworking.

I can see what you want to do, but the form's rough. Granted, you have the language barrier to thank for that, but there's still the problem of format.

I suggest you check the contributor guidelines (http://www.sega-16.com/Contributer%20Guidelines.htm) to see what you should be including.

Also, are you sure you want to give it a ten? That score is reserved for the absolute pinnacle of quality, and it seems to be getting tossed around too easily lately. I'm going to be more demanding from now on when it comes to giving a game a perfect score. The same with a 1 or a 2.

Try to step back from it and ask yourself if it is truly flawless, or as bad as you'd like to score it. You'll be surprised how many times the score will change that way.

All in all, good first effort! We'll use this thread as sort of discussion about writing reviews. Remember that all submissions should be emailed to me at ken@sega-16.com. Don't post 'em here. :)

why dont you play it a few times on your pc
after 3 times it works like a drug !
it is the better mean bean machine
