Sega Chips

Is there a place where you can buy a Z80 processor, Hitachi twin boards, etc;? I am looking to buy some chips from Sega Consoles, but I don't really want to take them out of the console itself.

I wish I knew. I wonder if anyone could hack apart the working chips from a dead Genny, and sell the parts? My Genesis was suffereing from some nasty audio interference (actually sounded like loud farting!). A friend of mine transferred its S-video compatible processor to another board, and voila! No more interference.

There might be money to be made here.
