So what's your opinion on this game Zero Tolerance? I think it's a pretty good game yet it's tough. I later was running out of ammo. Is it a must have game to own?

yes it 's a must have !
The only 3D Shooter for the Mega Drive ! -from SEGA
Duke Nukem (TecToy) uses the Zero Tolerance Engine !

If you can live with the strange graphics buy this game !
But dont use the bomb before you get into the prison

It's the only tolerable 16-bit cartridge FPS, with the possible exception of that Brazilian Duke 3D, which I've never played.

It's definitely worth buying I got it for $5 dollars. It's better than Doom for the snes. A lot of action, a lot of levels. It even has blood. Many weapons to get. Sure the graphics aren't clear but you still have a lot of fun killing the aliens.

I don't understand why this isn't more famous. The graphics are simply amazing, given the hardware. And yet people just keep ranting about GH and nothing else... >.>

Have you played it Genesis Knight?

ZT needs more fame than it has cause it's really good. I'm almost gonna beat it I'm on the last levels. The way they pulled off the graphics on the genesis is great. I just love it when the aliens are getting close and a shotgun right to their head the blood splatters all over hehe.

What's even more amazing is that you can link two carts together and play cooperatively or in death match!

That's the only game on the Genny with that capability correct?

And yes, I've played it some. Enough to know that it's waaaaaay underrated. It's one of those 'jaw-bolted-to-the-floor-until-the-end-credits' games, to use a Melf-ism.

"First online multiplayer FPS?"

Never thought of it that way. You might be right.

The URL seems to be broken :(

Does anybody have the schematic for the ZT link cable?

Holy crap. I just saw some screenshots of this on Wikipedia and had some crazy Marathon flashbacks. The HUD and a lot of the weapons look almost exactly the same.

How hard is this game to find? It looks like a riot.

Hey no problem! Always glad to help a fellow gamer in need! I might make this some day. Just need another TV and two copies of this game.

Zero Tolerance was a little masterpiece, but Duke Nukem has a bigger window and seems to run even smoother!
Has anyone ever played it on a real Genesis / Mega Drive ?
I once read that those disturbing grey vertical lines that appear when playing it with Gens do not appear on the real hardware.
Is that true? If so I have to give my regards to the people of Tec Toy.

The game's not rare at all, and can be had for about $3 to $7 complete here in the US, KillerBean.

Nah, I think Midi Maze wins that award.
