Take pictures of any game stores you find! This would make a great "Genesis Around the World" article. I'd love to see what the gaming scene in London is like!

Where abouts in London are you going? If it's the touristy places in central London I doubt you will find any second hand shops. If you want Mega Drive games just use ebay.co.uk!
Have a great time and make sure you visit Covent Garden.

Probotector.
Its not PAL-only, but it´s Contra with different character sprites. I find it at least worthy of collecting even if you have the US-Contra already.
And "Ottifants" based on a German comedian´s cartoons. Nothing special, an average jump´n run.

Zero Wing would be worth it for hilarity sake alone.
"IN AD 2101, war was beginning..."
It's a shame the actual game doesn't include those computer voices.

Yeah, chances are you'll be doing touristy things anyway. It seems in North America people sem to think England, Scotland, Birmingham, Manchester etc. are in London.
There's so many different thigns to see in England. Especially for historical purposes (like the black country museum by where I live). If you have English / British heritidge or just to see what was once part of N.America's history then it's great to see.
I'd love to get to Canada one time. Been to the US, but Canada I'd really love to go.

Canada is more or less the same as the USA. I live a half-hour away and it's not much different over there.

I live in Canada and have lived in the US in the past, and I can tell you that your 100% right.

gaming wise perhaps.
But from what I hear, a Canadian Conservative is the rough equivalent of Joe-Potsmoking Liberal from America.
But whatever,
enjoy the trip to London and be sure to go north to Scotland, West to Ireland, and south to Normandy where you'll actually find Frenchies that like Americans.

People seem to think the US is nothing but Texas, New York, & L.A./Hollywood.
Truthfully, Every corner of this country is different than the others. Maine will never be confused with California/Arizona and Florida will not be confused with Washington. But I'm sure there are quite a few people in this world who perceive the US based upon NYC alone.
Frenchies that like Americans? More info requested.

It has to be a lie. Nobody outside of the US like Americans (except Tony Blair).

And the rest of New York isn't at all like NYC.

Very often itīs the same with Americans talk the same way about Europe. The Europeans do it this or that way, weīll visit Europe, etc.
But every country is different. Even inside our small countries, people can be very different from region to region.
About Frenchies: Who cares? Itīs not like anybody liked Frenchies anyway. Same goes for Germans by the way...

Can't argue with that. Sweeping generalizations about broad subjects must be a vestige from the Savannah.
Honestly, I've lived in America my entire life and have yet to figure out what all the French hate is about. :?

Thats not true....about Germans.
There are a lot of people who have some form of German ancestry and have no problem with Germans.
And every time the topic of hating the French/being hated by the French reminds me of when the (very) short lived phrase "Freedom Fries". Strained relations in like 2000/2001/2002 led to some genius (I forget who) to drop the French in "French Fries" and replace it with "Freedom". Most places have called them "fries" for like a decade.
I am surprised to hear there is/was an American themed restaurant in France.
I like the French. I like French toast, French fries....I even like French's mustard!

But you didn't mention French bread or French salad dressing. You must hate those.
Shameful, just shameful. :shame:

I only like French kissing tbh. That's about it. Ad for fries? I'm a chip man myself. Good old Roe & Chips. - Ja this is the traditional.English btw, not chips, that are crisps over here!

Oh yeah... Canadian Drivers piss me off. I live right near the border, so I see a LOT of Canadians around my area to buy products they see on TV they can't get in Canada. And I wish they had some mail order way of getting products as they are crappy drivers. The KM -> MPH conversion isn't hard you know....
That and it's piss easy to get a used Canadian model car (different speedometer, and a few unique rebadged models) for peanuts in my area. There's quite a few.

Ha ha ha!
That's what my Mom says all the time, about the driving in Canada. She came up here from California to marry my Dad and she won't stop talking about that.

The funny thing is, I went all over London, and couldn't find any Gamestations, I found a couple of shops called Game though.
