How much would you pay for a modded Genesis?

I was considering putting up some modded v1 systems up for sale.

This is with a region switch JP/English and possibly (upon request?) a PAL/NTSC Switch.

How much is one of these systems with that stuff worth?

I was thinking in the range of $25 - $30.

I haven't done so yet, once I have an MD game to test the width I'll do so, to see if its feasable.

for the normal japanese games that's no problem ( ca 2mm, but for games like darius 2 that's hard work ca ( 5 mm)

And I get round the cartridge shape problem in a simple manner - I have my Mega Drive topless (woo), and hinged along one side with black electrical tape. Then a simple taped bit of string keeps the thing open.

It saves me from slashing up the poor thing's slot, anyway.

Yes, but - as Melf says - it's not a long-term solution because the codes are so long.
