In my SCD's internal memory, I see a few files I don't recognize:

JOE1_CD_000
B_FANTAS_02
B_FANTAS_00
B_FANTAS_01

I don't know what they are, and I'm afraid to delete them, because I'm worried they might be system files or something.

could the second set of files possibly be from the japanese mega cd game called battle fantasy? i'm not sure myself, just guessing from the abbreviation of the name since it looks like it could be from that game.

The first one would be the stellar Joe Montana Football for the Sega CD.

Why would system files be accessible for deletion?

They are saved games. The first is Joe Montana Football, and the second is Battle Fantasy, which was released as Revengers of Vengenace or something like that in the states - I think they did a hasty localization or something.

I have "Revengers of Vengeance", but none of us have ever owned the "Joe Montana" one. The unit I have used to belong to my brother, but he never purchased that game either, but maybe he got his used. I have no clue.

Snatcher shouldn't take up the whole thing. Shining Force will take up that and more.
