I remember this got hyped in a few mags and then was quickly forgotten way before it saw release. Never played it. I assume somebody on here did...

Yes. I read you have to finish your opponent or else you'll be forced to fight him/her again.

It's uncommon at best, so finding a complete Genesis copy shouldn't be too hard, or expensive. I very much doubt that it's in high demand these days, so there should be nothing stopping you from snagging it for under $10 USD complete.

My opinion on the game? One awkward fighter.

The graphics are amazing, but the game is daff.

That's what I remember about it (been a while). It looked great but didn't play so well.

I played it and controlling the characters is tough. I don't remember pulling off the moves. All I remember is I didn't like it even though the graphics are pretty good.

I have it, and it's okay, just not very intresting... the graphics are great, just not very colorful, and the weapon sounds *cling*, and *clonk* are some of the best I've HEARD ANYWHERE!

Nice character design. Moves hard to pull off. When you beat the game, you get critised for not using enough combos. These are the people that went on to make Soul Caliber.

The gameplay in a way reminded me of Primal Rage in a way. Weaponlord was probably THE most complex 2D fighting game of its time.
