PayPal Question

Okay, if I add a 50 dollar balance to my PayPal account, then proceed to pay for several eBay items with PayPal through the eBay interface, will those purchases be pulled from my balance or directly from my account?

The reason I ask is because I accidentally added 50 from my account to PayPal, and now it's gone. The only thing I've done is pay for several eBay items that exceed 50 dollars together.

I'm hoping it's not the notorious PayPal Vanishing Money trick.

PayPal will take money from your balance, and if you run out, it goes to your bank account for more money..

When I originally bought those Sega CD's from nik, I didn't know how to do it either, I had to read through their help system to figure it out. ;)
