I wish I'd had the brain power to figure out that there was this much freedom allowed for the Vectorman writing olympics. See, my flawed understanding of the contest was that the story had to be about tracking down that "elusive" copy of VectorMan and/or a Genesis console. Something about the original wording for the contest rules clearly boggled me. I totally would have written up something with the knowledge I have now.

Eh, I think we should let this one slip this time. Its a contest and all. I think the next contest we should open a new column just for fantastical or fictional genesis stories. Simply because it could be fun...

You weren't supposed to write a fictional story, and either was acceptable. I found Cameron's piece different and refreshing, which is why it came in second. It was a bit too short though, and Nick's was just so well-written, that it won.

I was thinking that the next contest should be different than the previous two, and something like an art contest seems like a good idea.

good story,couldnt figure out all the words,like polidented what does that mean,but still what i read was fun.Its way fantasy whats fun, I also remember seeing the so cool streets of rage 2 for 10 F ,dont know how many doller that is but do know its +- 5 euro,sore i had no genesis,i borrowd it from my neveu,for a while.Damn that guy at speelboom(toytree)saying that the quality of the megadrive was not good,else my parrent bought one,Damn that siggare smoking dude.
