I think the first one was, but the sequel i'm sure was '92.

Or the master list is dead wrong.

SUPER MARIO RPG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(even though it came out on the SNES in 1996), but seriously I have no clue. Well the best Genesis game of 1992 is probably Sonic 2 so I am going with that.
