What's the deal with these files stored on Mega-CD CDs? They don't seem to contain any readable information. Assuming you had a CD drive at the time, would this have been readable even then?

They're on Dreamcast and Saturn discs, too, IIRC.

Usually the BIB.TXT just says something like ©1994 Sega, Inc. Drag the file into a versatile text editor (probably not Word) and you'll be able to see what's inside. They're nothing special or required for the disc to run, but then again maybe they are.

ABS = Abstract
BIB = Bibliography
CPY = Copyright
