Who'd win in a fight: Solid Snake or Sam Fisher?

I pick Sam Fisher. Solid Snake may have invented tactical espionage, but Fisher is the man who perfected it. He's practically an American ninja.

Snake also relies to much on armament, and not enough on skills. I mean, it took him almost two decades to even learn how to hide, and what did he use? A cardboard box. Fisher would drop down from the ceiling on his ass so fast, it'd make his head spin. That, or he'd pop out from behind a door or something and snap his neck.

Who do you think would win?

Snake. . .because he can apparently take 5 armor peircing rounds to the neck and withstand missile volleys from assault vehicles.

Fisher can only take about 3 bullets and a boot to the head.


In any case I enjoy both franchises in different ways.

Snake has badass weapons so he'd get the first shot in, but then he would start talking about love on the battlefield and Sam Fisher would just grunt and unload a round of bullets into him. THEN, Snake would get stuck trying to look in the right direction and start applying herbs or whatever, at which point Fisher would run in and slit his throat.

inconsequential or not, solid snake was losing the poll 4 to 3 until i reserrected the thread. hes pulled ahead quite nicely. i just couldnt let that be. sam fisher is a pretty generic character if you ask me.

But since we're in a post-MGS4 world and osteoporosis has taken its toll on Snake, I gotta take Sam Fisher (even though I haven't put much time into the Splinter Cell series).
