So, anyone else like this genre? Yeah, they're usually hyperdramatic but the fighting is beautiful and Zhang Yimou does some dazzling stuff with color.

Hero, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Golden Flower, House of Flying Daggers, Kung Fu Hustle (lol), etcetera.

Hero was the first one I saw and I still think the color schemes and music compositions are amazing. Golden Flower I have yet to see but it looks stupid - lumbering fights in plate armor, gag.

And while we're at it, what about Shaolin Soccer?

I prefer the early 90's Jet Li films.

I enjoy the "Fong Sai Yuk" movies and would love to see "Tai Chi Master" not cut and dubbed. FSY has Jet Li being a bit less serious and it's a nice change.
