Would it be possible to add a button to the forum that lets you see the most recent new posts, say the last 10 posts. Its a feature I find really useful on other forums, as you can quickly see replies and posts you might normally miss if you didn't look in each section of the forum every time.

It's up at the top of your screen on the site's navbar - "New Posts", to the left of Calendar.

The only buttons on the left side of the calender button are Home, User/CP, QuickLinks and Members.
is there an option somewhere I'm supposed to click to make it appear?

Choose default style down in the left corner, then look between Calendar and Search.

Excellent thats sorted it, thanks dude. I think I prefer the look of the forum this way too. It's a bit odd that the default style of the forum isn't actually the one that was selected by default!

Haha, yeah, I can only agree. It is also better for the eyes to have dark letters on a light background. :cool:

I agree with Zeebe-poo and playgen. Much easier to read this way. Light text on a dark background makes my eyeballs go zonkers after awhile.

Really? I love the default theme for the Sega-16 forum (the light text on blue background),

Gives it such a polished feel. I always love visiting it!

I noticed this the most when I was reading the looooong Sega Base articles. My eyes got tired after around 10 minutes. (yes, that means I think the site design should be like the default forum style, but I won't ask for it because it's a load of work for whoever is responsible).

I'm another believer in light color schemes for forums, but oddly enough I think it's like 4 out of 5 vBulletin forums default to dark.
