Created by SONICTEAM, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity hits stores in spring 2008 and takes Sonic into never-before seen worlds with edge-of-your-seat racing intensity and all-new gravity-controlling moves.
In Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, Sonic takes to futuristic tracks and travels as far as outer space to push the limits of speed even further. Two new unique gravity-control moves will allow players to outrace opponents while navigating walls, drops, and hairpin turns. Innovative new tracks take full advantage of Sonic's new moves and offer heart-stopping racing action enhanced by high-intensity speed boosts.
"Speed andagility is what built the Sonic franchise," said Scott A. Steinberg,Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America. "Sonic Riders: ZeroGravity offers long-time Sonic fans, and newcomers alike, theadrenaline-pumping gameplay and moves that made the blue hedgehogfamous, while adding a plethora of completely new elements to the Sonicworld. Packed with new and innovative features, Sonic Riders: ZeroGravity delivers a rush that gamers can'tresist."

Looks like someone at SoE fellasleep on the keyboardagain. The gamepage linked to in the article goes to Virtua Fighter 2, I assume the Wii VC release o_O
I hope the drift system in Sonic Riders 2 gets fixed from the original 'ok here comes a corner let's drift no why are you braking Sonic stop braking you're supposed to be drifting aaargh' formula. The original was a fantastic-looking game; I just wish things had been easier to unlock rather than earning Rings, and then having to unlock them in-game.
I'm also interested in why the consoles of choice this time round are the PS2 (again) and the Wii, with the PS2 well on its way to being the bargain basement console along with the GBA, and all. Although I suppose after Sonic and the Secret Rings, the Sonic guys understand the Wii hardware pretty well.
