I don't stumble across Japanese classic gaming sites too often, and it seems like a lot of things - like this baseball game for the Megadrive Modem I just heard about on the Master List - simply fade into obscurity and die without ever being truly documented. Do the Japanese just not care as much about old systems, are all their websites hidden from prying Western eyes, or what?
Where are the Japanese Sega-16s and DigitPresses?

There must be loads of Japanese retro sites out there. Maybe it's the fact there aren't many in the west who can speak the Japanese languages (of which I belive there are four).
I refuse to believe that Japan ignores one of the greatest consoles ever.
I want to see a "Team Japan" at our next International Mega Drive Tournament.

The Mega Drive wasn't very popular in Japan, but there are tons of shops in Japan that sell on eBay. I've purchased quite a few things directly from Japan on eBay.

Me too. They always arrive two days after payment and always in mint condition.

The Japanese government outlawed classic gaming sites and has since had them all converted into DOA girl bukkake websites.
