Poor piranha. Why did you get a lone Piranha in the first place?
Before I get a pet I take care that I can actually offer it a decent home. You should have known you donīt have enough room, and taking one alone seems sadistic to me.
This tank looks so empty that I must shake my head...
I love animals and it makes me sick when someone treats them so careless.

Are piranhas that social? Besides, I think fish have stupendously short memories, so I doubt it's doing him a lot of harm. That said, I'm not much of an animal lover so I'm biased.

Anyway - weirdest Bazaar entry ever.

I got him YESTERDAY because the gentlemen at the fish store assure me it would be fine. He has not only bigger ones in the same size tank, but multiple ones as well. I dont know anything about fish so I figured since the fish guy said it was ok, it was ok.

Once I got it home and looked around online a bit, I found out that he was quite wrong. I dont want to bring it back to an even worse enviorment than it was in at the fish store where it had to share a smaller tank with 3 other fish, so I'm trying to find it a new home. Apparently this happens quite often with local fish stores.

I was up till 5 AM last night, posting on fish forums and emailing stores/aquariums to see if anyone could give him a new home, infact now I'll probably be late for work. Despite the horrible picture, I assure you that water is quite clean and he just had a nice meal of crill.

Thanks for being judgemental though.

You should have told the whole story when you posted. As it appeared to me you seemed like a bad pet-owner who just wants to get rid of a fish you got bored of.

A local pet store took him off my hands today, one with the right tank setting.

I think its awesome you posted the poor guy up here. It looks like you used ever means necessary no matter how bazaar it seemed to find him a good home.

Well nothing I really would want to part with but I do have a Copy of Bonk's Adventure floating around. I think I have a copy of Keith Courage and Tv sports Basketball. Ill have to go through my closet.
