Longtime Sega-16 readers are well aware of our investigations into the history behind Sega Visions magazine. From our editorial about its history to our interviews with former writer Bill Kunkel and Niles Nemo cartoon artist David Sullivan, a great deal has already been revealed. This time around, we've gone a few steps up on the Sega Visions heirarchy and spoken to former managing editor David Sullivan, who was with the periodical since its origins as the Sega Challenge newsletter. John Sauer: Personally I thought they were great. Tonka classic toy style advertising and marketing gave the Master System enough support to be a launch platform for the Genesis and Michael wanted to break into a new radical direction and really get in your face. Some felt that it would not be successful but as history shows, he was on the money. Personally I thought they were great. I thought Phantasy Star 1 was translated to English in Japan. It sure wasn't done by a native speaker of the language. There are typos galore.

Btw, the front page has a typo as well for the interview.
Still, Another awesome job. I miss Sega Visions and wish my entire 15 copy collection wasn't destroyed in a flood.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought this interview was supposed to be about David Sullivan, but instead it was about John Sauer, and I thought the interview with John Sauer was already posted before...
We posted the interview with David Sullivan almost two years ago. I mentioned him in the headline because it was part of our investigation into everything Sega Visions-related.

I guess what I am trying to say here is that if you read the above quote, you were thinking that this interview was about David Sullivan, former managing editor. But I thought David was the cartoon artist...So maybe there was typo here???
