I remember reading about what the initial idea of what Doom was supposed to be and thinking it was far better than what was released.

Sounded like there was a ton more interactivity in the initial concept that was eventually dropped.


My biggest gripe with "Doom" was that there was too little interactivity and the levels were not very realistic in their layout and design...very vague.
