Space Ace, released one year after the massively successful Dragon's Lair, needs no introduction. An FMV game where the player must help Ace save his super hot babe Kimberly from Commander Borf! Although I don't like this game as much as DL, the SCD port of Space Ace is much better than the SCD port of DL (no command requirements are changed). And Kimberly is sooooooooooo hot! But not as hot as Daphne. :D

I liked Space Ace... in arcades. I was never satisfied with a home version (never played it for the toilet system) until I played the DVD version on a high-quality DVD player.

Space Ace is awesome on 3DO. However without some sort of cheat sheet of moves its just boring replaying the same scene just to get right. I did Dragons Lair just to see it as a movie. I loved Dirk's Yell and Homer Simpson type screams. Oh and I played these games like last year. never had em when I was a kid.

I got it, played it for about a half hour, beat the first scene, got frustrated again and just turned it off. This game was great back when I was little.. How can it be that I was able to advance further in this game in the arcade and yet get so frustrated and bored being stuck in the very first scene on the Sega CD? I swear there were on-screen arrows telling you where to go and what to do next. I must've been a little genius back then or I must be dreaming nonsense! :?

I think your childhood memories have deluded you of what a truly sh*te game it was...

You've come along way you should be proud of yourself :D

I loved this game in the arcade, and when the first home versions came out, that was a lot of fun as well. My first version of Space Ace was the Apple IIgs version on like nine 3.5 inch disks.

I think I also had the Sega CD version at one time, and the 3D0 version.

In the arcade I could get to the end where you fight Borf, but always got my booty kicked. I did see one guy beat Borf before though. Really nicely animated game. Seemed a easier than Dragons Lair

It is an easier game than Dragon's Lair. Has great animation. Best version is definitely the CD-i version though, very much almost arcade perfect (better than the 3DO version).

I played it on PC. My buddy got a combo that came with that and Dragons Lair on 3.5" floppies. Its amazing how much animation they could fit onto a few of those 1.44MB pieces of crap!

The only system I have played this for was SNES, and enjoyed it quite a bit. If I ever find a sega-cd i'll definately have to pick it up.
