Ah, Ben, it seems just like old times on RGVS, eh? ;)

This is the most depressing thing ever written here. Still, nice job!
EDIT: I typed in "Stories" in the feature search, and I got all the Stories from the Book of Genesis, and I noticed that number 10 is blank, but every other one has a number.

RGVS? I posted on one of those SEGA newsgroups some years ago. I can say that a comment of mine is permanently recorded in BelPowerslaves "quotes section" on his website.

Wow! A Sega CD story that features morals and ethics. Buying a Sega CD twice is one of the most depressing things I have ever read.

The first time I played a Mega CD game was last year when I bought the unit. I could in no way afford it "back then". Its price was far, far above the corresponding $200 here. Getting it cheap today and all its great games is awesome though.

Hi Steve. :) Sorta, but no Saturn import fun here. :p

It debuted at $300. The $200 was the money I received which wasn't enough to afford the add-on.

Hm yeah, forgot about that. I've calculated the Swedish price into $500, so that add-on was just a dream back then.

wah. I once ripped off a company that rips customers off every day. You speak of comparison shopping. You ever check the toy prices in TRU compared to Walmart or Target?
wah. I paid for a disc of roms. What year did this take place? Were new Genesis games being actively sold? If not, then nobody lost out on anything (FYI- buying a used game doesn't profit anyone but the guy selling it).
wah. While the Sega CD had its share of dogs, there were plenty of decent games as well to justify the cost. I'm sorry if you were too butt hurt by the FMV games to notice that other games were released as well.

The content and tone of your post tells me you really didn't understand the article, including your questions which are already answered within the text. Though I could be wrong, I suspect you're either a fanatical Sega CD fan or a pirate, and you were able to focus on a few words in your cursory glance through the piece to get you all riled up.

Maybe I'm a fanatical Sega CD fan AND a pirate.
Actually I'm neither, I just found the article to be quite lame compared to most of the top notch stuff posted here. It was very whiny, hence the wahs.

Whining? I'm not whining in the article, and, again, I think you misread it or didn't comprehend the voice. It deals with regret, sure, but whiny? I'd disagree. Ah well, can't please everyone. :p

^ Eh, doubt it. Can't speak for Kraft, but having "known" Benjamin over the years (since roughly 2001 or so for the morbidly curious), he is a class act. Anyway, Ben that is the right approach to take. Not everyone's gonna like every piece they see. I disagree with the way Kraft went about voicing his disgust but hey, that might just be his style and some people just post like that. No biggie. It's never anything to lose any sleep over one way or the other (when someone rips something you put a decent amount of thought into) but that's the way the internet works.

No it's not. I voiced my opinion, he voiced his.
As well, this is just one response to one article. Not a big deal at the end of the day.
My point was that the things he felt regret seemed kind of silly in the grand scheme of things. He took advantage of a company that takes advantage of consumers on a daily basis. The only reason he was able to do so was that the company didn't have a proper return policy in place. Hardly something to lose sleep over. He bought a disc of roms full of games that if he had bought outright, still wouldn't have profited the original makers of those games anyway. Again, hardly something to lose sleep over.
Finally, he pointed out a few of the worst games for the Sega CD as if they were representative of the Sega CD's library as a whole.
I'm not a fan of the Jaguar, but if I were to represent that systems whole library based on Club Drive, Kasumi Ninja, and Dragon I'd being doing a disservice by leaving out Iron Soldier, Alien vs Predator, and Tempest 2000.

Honestly I agree with your opinion. However If someone spoke to me like that I would be furious. Just try to be a bit more diplomatic. Wah WAh Wahs are not necessary.
