Why does your auction also say "CDX X'eye CD X"? It obviously isn't.

I think he writes it to mislead people who actually search for a CDX or a X'Eye and make them think: "Ah, what the heck, I'll just take a S-video modded model 1 Genesis instead!"
I don't see what the point in a stereo-modded model 1 is, when you just can plug a different RCA cable in the headphone jack.

Hahaha. Yes, my goal is to mislead people. I just do it to get more hits - don't like it, then you should just give up on ebay altogether. It's plainly obvious to even the most stupid person what is being offered for sale.
Thank-you for ruining my sale thread.

No problem! That is what people deserve when they falsely advertise their auctions, forcing buyers to look through gazillions of auctions with content not being the same as in the headline.

I don't think your sales thread is ruined, it's still a quality item.

If anyone has any concerns about this auction, please feel free to let me know. I apologize if it seems as if I am trying to 'mislead' people, but that is simply not the case.
In order to get more hits to my sale, I have padded the auction title with the terms 'CDX' and 'X'eye' because these are terms Sega enthusiasts would use. Enthusiasts are the people I want to sell this set to. Once you click the auction link, the item being offered is described honestly and with plenty of details. This is not a form of deception and many people (and some of this site, I'm sure), have padded auction titles.
I hope some members haven't swayed you from bidding, but I assure you, you won't be disappointed.
thank-you,

Wow, this post is actually quite ignorant. I just wanted to quote it again to point that out.
Not only do you shit in my selling thread, but you question the validity of a mod that is actually quite useful.
I think I'm owed an apology.

But, the stereo mod gets it from the same headphone jack internally, there's no sound quality difference.

Isn't this for a model 2?

No, a model 1.
While I do like the S-Video mod, it will come in handy for a user. (i did my own component video mod).

Oh I see the second one is a model one. How come no one has yelled at him for double posting. I demand a thorough tongue lashing.

Okay, I am sorry. Now please explain to me how you find the stereo mod for a model 1 Sega Genesis Video Entertainment System useful.

Instead of having a wire go from the front of the unit and being forced to use a y-splitter, you can now just use standard RCA jacks from the back. Not only is it more convenient, it is also more aesthetically pleasing. Idiot.
Please stop shitting in my selling thread.

What? I gave you an apology, like you asked for. Then I simply asked you a question. And you are calling me an idiot.

I would never go into your selling threads and do what you did to me. Selling threads are (for the most part) the one thing you don't spam for no good reason.
Can you really blame me for finding your 'apology' sarcastic?
I know I'm a 'newb,' but I would really appreciate it if you restricted your initiation to other parts of the forum.
thanks,

Can't we all just get along  ? The item is still a quality product, especially if someone doesn't ALREADY own a Genesis, regardless of the item title.
And I still don't think Zebbe was "shitting" in anything. How can anyone get angry with Zebbe? He's Swedish for heavens sake. Your first auction did well, and I'm willing to bet the second will do the same.

This thread is done.
PS - No reason to use a Y-cable coming from the headphone jack.
