Modded Xbox = Hot Sex

Finally got around to doing the soft mod last week, and I am one happy man!
I have MAMEoX on it, and have been burning through games this weekend like nobody's business. So far, I've beaten:

- G.I. Joe
- Aliens vs. Predator
- Simpsons
- Robocop
- Punisher

I plan on tackling both D&D games, as well as some shmups, this week. Before you ask though, I have no plans to play backups or pirate Xbox games. My whole reason for modding the system was to enjoy emulation on my 27'' TV, in my game room. I also have a Genny emulator (Monster World IV in English!), and a SNES one (Ys IV in English!). That's really all I need.

Also you HAVE to check out Neo Geo AES emulators as they're perfect arcade emulations.

P.S. Did I or Did I not say that a modded Xbox is hands down ownage?! Make sure to get Xbox Media Center as once you use it you'll wonder why you hadn't before! There's alot of ppl who mod their Xbox just to have this all in one supreme media application. Plain and simple: if you have an Xbox you have to have XBMC.

Anyway, melf you need to play Ninja Baseball Batmen. The game is a beat-em-up, with ninjas, that r, get this,baseball players and r trying to get stuff for the baseball hall of fame. the enimes r out there and the story sounds like Taito was smokin stuff (apperently they arent winners, since every sngle freakin arcade game has "winners dont use drugs") but, you Melf would probably like this nutty as hell but insanley fun and innovative beat-em-up, especially with 4 players.

What is MKV? If that is an HD format, then the Xbox might be too old (unless the software has been upgraded). It will do some HD formats, though, as I watch a lot of downloaded TV shows in HD on it (it gets chuggy if the resolution is too high).

I was never able to get Neo Geo games to work in MAMEoX. I drop in the bios in the ROMs folder but it doesn't register them when I scan for games. Am I missing something?

Am I missing something?You're missing a copy of FBA-XXX. It runs Neo-Geo, CPS1, and CPS2 far better than MAMEoX does. Also, your bios file may be wrong. Every time I have to go looking for one, I find I have to sift through about 10 wrong ones before I can find one that works.

I have like 3 different version of Mame just so I can play the whole Metal Slug series. They play with it on every update. Its odd because some games play better and other play worse or not at all.
