View Full Version : Hands-On: Classic Game Room DVD
Classic Game Room was at the forefront of Internet gaming shows. Back in 1999, Mark Bussler and David Crosson slowly perfected their craft of witty and insightful reviews of games for all consoles, and they diligently worked on improving their product with a non-existent budget and a single camera. Recently, a documentary on the show's rise and fall was released on DVD by Bussler and inecom, and it tells the complete tale of this innovative beginning to one of the first Internet shows on video games. Check out our write up on it (http://www.sega-16.com/2007/12/hands-on-classic-game-room-dvd/) for the full story.

Ah, yes - I can't decide if I like or despise these two. They're funny, yet not, and their reviews are simultaneously totally unhelpful and interesting. But they have some of the only DC video reviews out there, which deserves some credit, I'm sure. (Maken X, Draconus, etc.)

That was a nice read. I have never heard of them before, but this surely made me interested to see other reviewers than the AVGN. But I wonder if there is a PAL version of their DVD. NTSC might not work on my computer.

I just wanted to make a quick comment about this feature:
This feature almost killed me. Everything SHOULD HAVE been finished back in July, but then a "perfect storm" of life changing events occurred. Seemingly everything that could go wrong, went wrong for me. I took a break from Sega-16 to deal with my personal life, and this feature (along with another) was set aside. When I returned to the site, I thought I would be able to quickly finish this feature, but I couldn't. I came to a block whenever I looked at the WORD file. So it sat. Waiting for someone to finish it.
By not finishing when I was supposed to finish, I let a few people down, including Mr. Mark Bussler. Which was unfortunate because Mark is one hell of a guy and has been great through this entire process.
So... I'd like to thank both Mr. Bussler and Ken (Melf :p ) for being patient with me. It meant a lot, and ultimately helped me overcome a large obstacle.
