View Full Version : How essential is the Konami Justifier?

For Snatcher? I was given an early Christmas present, and I want to get started, I just need to know if the Justifier (light gun) is necessary. Thanks! :D

I haven't played very far into Snatcher, but from the little bit I've seen, and based on my experiences w/ my Justifiers, I'd say it's more of a liability than anything. The Justifiers are just too inaccurate, IMO.

If Snatcher had used a free-floating cursor to aim in the shooting sequences, I'd say definitely use the gun. However, with the direction+button method they used instead, I definitely prefer a regular controller.

You don't need it... there are so FEW shooting moments that it isn't necessary.

And in the shooting scene, like 0x15e says, it's just a gride 3X3, your cursor floats in the middle one, you push in the direction of the slot you want, if you want to move there. Release and it goes back to the middle slot.

Woa you got Snatcher for christmas? Good deal man. Yea I could never get those things to work anyways and like it was said before there are only like 3 parts in the entire game you would actually use it for.

I actually found it easier with out the Justifier.

I played it without the Justifier and the game was still a 10/10 for me. I rarely think "realistic" game peripherals make the games funnier or better. I just feel even more retarded for playing with a toy gun in the front of my TV. Also, this Wii thing comes to mind...

I still have that gun, but I got it with Lethal Enforcers.

Funny, I don't even have the actual game any more...
