Ms. Pac-Man, Flicky & Frogger made it to the Genesis.
Pengo made it to the MegaDrive.
I think the following classic games should have been ported to the Genesis.
Up 'N' Down
Zaxxon
Congo Bongo
Subroc 3-D
Buck Rogers' Planet of Zoom
Turbo
Monaco GP
Jr. Pac-Man
Pengo (US Release)
Q-Bert
Super Zaxxon
SDI
Major League
Gradius
Sega Uranus

how did Zaxxon NOT be released?
There was Zaxxon Motherbase 2000 for the 32X.

SDI made it to the SMS as 'Global Defense'
Up n Down was ported by Sega to the C64
PacMan Jr was ported to one of the 3 Ataris. . .but not the VCS/2600
But hell, I won't argue. . .
Any great system deserves more games.

Ms. Pac-Man isn't a port of the arcade game, though. You should play it, it's pretty cool.
Monaco GP had a Genesis sequel.
There was a Space Invaders sequel for Genesis. Unlike most Space Invaders releases, it was really cool.

It was released in Japan near the end of the consoles lifespan, and it's really expensive.

And it's pretty barebones, though it's very fun. It's a lot like the SNES release of Mr. Do! in that regard.

I feel the original R-Type should have been ported over. It probably would have looked at least as good as the PC Engive version, which was damn close to the arcade as it was. Pity it got the Master System treatment instead.
