Always wanted this game, now that I am able to finally play it after over a decade of waiting, I am amazed! I never thought I'd actually enjoy a graphic adventure (I wonder why games like this aren't around anymore, the modern RPG perhaps). I just need a walkthrough or something because I just am always too tempted to give smartass answers and walk off with hookers, burning my bridges. What a gem...too bad I can't convince myself to blow the money on Snatcher. Panzer Dragoon Saga would have to come first anyway, which is also too much..

I need to finish this game myself. Its a sweet game but I kinda got myself spoiled by playing Snatcher first. Also just burn yourself a copy of Snatcher it'll only cost you a blank CD-R.

How do I go about doing that?

Some day I plan to play more than 30 seconds of this game. I own it, but never got more than 30 seconds into it.

oh wow I almost forgot about that game I actually rented it for SCD back in the day and it was amazing... or so I thought anyway! I rented SegaCD allot back in the day since I didn't have a Genesis (I had a SNES) and even if I did I wouldn't have been able to afford a SegaCD anyway but I was in love with the CD-ROM technology at the time. That game was cool because I always loved games like Monkey Island, Manic Mansion, and even Willy Beamish and this one was like those but set in a high tech yet run down future. It had a cool atmosphere.

I have yet to play Snatcher. I have it downloaded ready to burn and play however!

rise of the dragon is seriously underrated! i never would have heard of it if it weren't for the review on this site. i kind of think of it as an extremely u.s.-localized version of snatcher, as the mood and gameplay are heavily the same

tanegashima, send me a pm if you need some help finding snatcher online

Me too. It looks pretty good from what i saw, but i just turned it off one day and haven't tried it again since and that was years ago.

I finished it a long time ago.

I first played it when I was real young, so it kind of freaked me out back then.

Feels tame nowadays, though. :P

Still awesome.

I saw this game in an old issue of a Game Informer Magazine. It sounded like a point and click adventure game so as soon as I was able, I d/l it. I played it a few times. I haven't touched it in a few years after that.

Same here. I got stuck there too and stopped playing.

If you liked Rise and Willy Beamish you might want to try Heart of China for DOS. It was the Dynamix Adventure game that didn't receive a Sega CD release but should have. It easily obtainable on the web.

What a great game. It's definitely worth investing your time in, to immerse yourself in the world of this sleazy private investigator, the plot is really good and the game gets better and better the further you get on into it. Similarities between this and Snatcher inevitable. I'll just compare the sound. I think this game actually has better voice acting than Snatcher, but Snatcher has the better music. This game has these platform segments in there that are really good as well. Its' a more moody game than Snatcher as well, I think.

I still like Snatcher more, but I don't want to make it sound like I'm putting this game down at all; it's fantastic and really underrated, and this is coming from somebody who plays loads of PC point and click adventure games. It really is a shame this game never received more widespread acclaim than just cult gaming sites.
