I'm thinking about getting a Laseractive and Sega add-on, which allows you to play Genesis and Sega CD games. I saw a site on the internet where they took the powerbase convertor out of it's shell and hooked it up, and was wondering if this would be possible with the 32X.

Maybe... I dunno if the cables would be long enough or how it'd fit.

It would be intresting to find out.

It isn't. The Laseractive doesn't have any sort of Genesis av-out on it, making the 32x impossible to hook up.

What about a Laseractive modded with S-video?

An s-video mod wouldn't do anything to let it connect to the 32x. The 32x has a cable that connects to the AV-out of the Genesis. Perhaps a mod giving a Genesis-style AV-out is possible, but I've never heard of anyone doing (or attempting) that.

The 32x cable is nothing special. It simply connects red to red, green to green, &c. Simply make your own cable if the Laseractive uses a different connector or the cable is too short.
