View Full Version : Just got a 32X!!

Buddy gave it to me, for free!

It even has the original box, but its missing an RF cable/AV Cable and the AC adapter. But it does have the metal prongs (which the directions indicate should be used on ANY system, Genesis 1 & 2).

I have ordered the necessary cables on ebay, went the xtra mile and just got a new Genesis II instead of going through the hassle of using it on my Genesis I/SCD II model...which is enough of a mess and uses up enough room as is.

The cool part is, I got some games with it. I can't wait to get my stuff so I can play them:

Kolibri
Virtua Racing Deluxe [brand new, with box etc.]
Doom (pack in with the 32X, unopened)
Knuckles Chaotix [complete with box]
Blackthorne [brand new, with box, manual etc.]
Star Wars Arcade
Shadow Squadron

even though its going to be a few weeks before I can fire this baby up, I can't wait.

I have heard of mechanical problems, but nothing specific. Are there any issues I should look out for?

No. Just remember you need a plastic spacer between the 32X and the Genesis II. It works like a condom or something.

You don't really NEED the spacer, it's just wobbly otherwise.

Good haul on the 32X though.

Well, if you're going to get a 32X, this is the best way to do it. Pretty amazing haul.

Pretty decent selection of games too. Blackthorne and Virtua Racing are the best made for the system. Shadow Squadron and Kolibri are strong runners up.

Shit, me too. I still have a rash from when i visited sweden. Never again I tell myself..never
