It seems I need another cable to get this friggen 32x to work. My current gen-1 AV cable is different from what is needed for the 32x.

yep thats right...lol...I went through the same thing with my Genesis 1. You still need a damn Genesis II AV or RF switch. Its so annoying, and yes that ebay item will work.

I've been waiting ages for my 32X to arrive from eBay. Well, a week and a day. :p
I have a Mega Drive/Genesis II RF cable, so I'll be fine hooking it up. :)

Took a week to get mine. Another week waiting on the adapter cable. I really wanted to play my games this weekend. Now I gotta wait several more days...

When the 32x was new my Buddie bought one and we spent hours trying to figure out why it wasn't working until we let go of our pride and read the instructions. We didn't even know there were different a/v cables and adapters for the new Sega stuff.

Iron Lizard, didn't you wonder why all of the extra cables were included, or why there was an "A/V IN" port? Did you neglect to hook up the 32X AC Adapter as well?

Awesome, now you need to get hold of Virtua Fighter, MetalHead and Stellar Assault for some real 32x goodness ;)

Metal Head? that game sucks. But well, it shows that the 32x can process textured polygons. only good point.

Metal Head is a great game. Damn fantastic if you can put sometime in to it and ignore the slow pace...

I can still pick up MH at my local store if i wanted to, but I dunno if i will until July unless I feel like going on a massive shopping spree. Ive also never played After Burner 32X before. You cant have a 32X without SW arcade, man!

I have two copies of the game. Anyone want one for free, I'll pay postage. It's the UK PAL copy, mind...

EDIT: I never stated it until I got a PM from someone, but the copy of the game I'm offering is the cartridege ONLY. I'm keeping the boxed copy for little old me.

Short Summary: I have a UK PAL copy of Star Wars for the 32X to give away, completly free. It's just the cartridge and I will pay FULL postage and packaging - it's free 100%.
