Do you want to know the real problem I have with it?

Controls. They have to be the worst controls on any Genesis game I have ever played.

I can se why people like this game, but tell me how I can like it, because it seems cool.

The controls are indeed horribly frustrating for the first playthrough. They're dynamic, which is kind of wierd. I find, though, that it works best to just 'go with your gut' and not really think about your DPad movements. Only when I try to concentrate on my thumb do things go wrong. =D

The controls are a bit frustrating towards the end of the game, but for the most part I didn't have any problems.

I didn't have any problems with the controls either. Maybe at the begining jsut to get use to the jumps and attacking. For me it's still a very good game.

I admit that it took a bit to get used to the controls, but it was nothing major. In fact, I kind of found the challenge refreshing. The game was new and innovative at the time, and still holds up quite well today. It'll be interesting to see how the PSP version ends up.

I never got into Landstalker. I tried it for a few minutes, and like you I was very put off by the controls.

I have a love/hate relationship with games like these. I'm working on Light Crusader now which uses the same perspective as Landstalker. The controls on both of these games can be a little frustrating, but I really do like the puzzle solving.

Then again, I could just be one awful gamer.

PSP version? When's that due?

I didnt have too much problem with the controls.. but I bet most of you hadn't played Snake Rattle N' Roll on the NES?

I played that game hard core for months, to the point I could own it. So Land Stalker wasnt "that" bad..
