It was supposedly released yesterday, and I just got my copy of it. So, if you live in Europe you can go pick it up right now. The original release date was supposed to be September 30th.
The first thing you'll notice, unfortunately, is the generic manga artwork which is rather bland and poor compared to the earlier titles. Now you write in your name using the touch screen in the menu, I honestly don't like this as my hand-writing skills aren't that good, and even worse with the stylus.
Like Aria the whole setting and atmosphere is rather... White. Other than that they have taken some liberties and the whole modern-day timeline becomes more apparent. The introduction is set in the suburbs, and the first area is some german-esque village with a few parked cars.
The music has its up and downs. Sound quality is drasticly improved from the GBA, but mostly it sounds like it's being played through a GM bank. The instrumentation could have been much more personalized. I do like the jazz/funk vibes in the Wizardry Lab. I haven't spent too much time with it, so these are my initial impressions.
