I basically just don't see the point in this rule..

Not everyone wants to post stuff on the forum for all to read, perhaps they just have a couple of questions so they ask an indivdual they think might know via PM. Then you can't reply because of this rule??

There is probly a good reason for it but i just cant see one myself.

You get many people lurking on these types of forums, infact probly every type of forum, so when they join up they allready have a good idea of who knows about what and if they are friendly or not. So they ask a question via PM, then there not allowed to receive a reply to a PM - but they can send a PM??? I can understand a rule to stop them sending a PM incase they are annoying sombody..

in summery, I just dont get it

A member with 0 posts can send PM's but they need a 100? forum posts to recieve any replies, it makes no sense.

New posters who are awaiting email confirmation aren't allowed to use PMs at all, since they've yet to confirm that they're not Spam Bots. Those in the probationary category (9 posts or less) shouldn't have a problem because they've been confirmed as human.

What happens about Zebbe, who has been confirmed as an android that has learned to love?

Any artificial beings are allowed to stay if they can beat Melf at figure skating, curling, and make tastier oatmeal raisin cookies than him.

Since Spambots are without arms and legs, they automatically forfeit.
