View Full Version : Stories from the Book of Genesis Vol. 22
There's probably no other Sega topic that spurs such a debate as the 32X. You either love or hate the darn thing, and such feelings usually run deep. Even among the hallowed halls of Sega-16, controversy rages, and our own staff members have their opinions about the little-mushroom-that-couldn't. Read one such tale (http://www.sega-16.com/2008/03/stories-from-the-book-of-genesis-vol-22/) in volume 22 of Stories from the Book of Genesis and decide for yourself if you haven't already.

You'll enjoy the higher quality video feed if you're not into modding a component lead, and you can acquire all the best games for under $100. - You can probably cut a 0 from that :p.
Too many !s in your part Vinny, but this was well-written and an interesting and original concept you two came up with.

Wow that system was nothing but a time and money waster for me. There were so many stinkers (Doom, Cosmic Carnage, Slam City, ...) and very very very few gems (Knuckles Chaotix, Shadow Squadron). I don't ever recall the mushroom of doom ever "enhancing" old Genny games before. I should try that out someday.

"But the 32X had an ace up its sleeve. Imagine my surprise when I saw a perfectly clean video signal, without a blemish in sight. The 32X also fixed the streaking in Revenge of Shinobi and generally added more depth to the color of all my games. Needless to say, I was one happy camper."
- how's that possible :?: Someone explain that to me please.
I am using my MD1 via RGB-Scart which should provide the best possible picture already. How would a 32x improve upon that picture ?

Yes, that is the best possible picture. 32X only enhances RF, but it still looks like crap compared to RGB.
