If you shut off and then turn on the system, it goes to the main menu...however, if you reset the system when you have a game playing, it resets just the game. Explain?

it makes use of HARD RESET signal for Power Up Menu and SOFT RESET signal for other stuff.

You didn't have to bribe them, they did it to "further human knowledge".
