As for the game I used to like, it would have to be Super Hang On. It's not so much that I hate it now, but I just don't understand how I wasted so many hours trying to beat that expert course on such a bland game. I used to be thrilled about the mock-up Marlboro signs (both because I thought it was bad-ass and grew up in a town by the same name) but such simple things no longer entertain me.
On the flip side, a game I used to hate was Tommy Lasorda Baseball, mainly because my dad would beat the crap out of me every single time I tried to play. Once I started to beat him however, it became a fun game after all. Imagine that :)

Ghostbusters for the Sega Master System. I bought it (it was the first game I bought after my original SMS purchases), hated it and then grew to love it. Now I don't see what I ever saw in it.
There are probably others which I can't recall right now. I'll post 'em if I remember 'em.

Sonic 3D Blast. As a kid it was one of the first games I got. I was all like "ZOMG TEH GRAFIXZ!!!!! ITS SONIC, BUT 3DDDDDDDD!!! Now, I look back and think, " wth was I thinking?!

Thought of another one, and how could I forget it.... Pokemon!
Back in the day I was obsessed with this series to the point of having matching Pokemon bedsheets with Charmanders and Venasaurs (It was cool, okay?)
I went back and played it and was just like "wow... what was the big deal again?"

If one recently counts "Air Diver".
If one counts from our childhood, then it was Championship Pool. Its not even the third best pool game on the sega.
There could be more.
Jungle Strike. I was forced to like it because I really loved Urban Strike the most, but no one else did, so I had to act like I liked that one more than Urban. I even got it for Christmas!
Honorable Mention:
Jack Nicklaus Power Challenge Golf (Looks like you hit a tree, Jim.)
Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball
Any Simpsons game (I still like Virtual Bart)
