How would this thing be made? Why would you use it when the Wiimote is a controller sideways and wireless

I saw some mods a while back where people made the original controllers for NES, SNES, and Genesis wireless, so they would be compatible with Virtual Console games. I guess if you're a purist you might want those mods, but if you were really hardcore you wouldn't be buying your legacy games off the VC.

Just looks like somebody trying to make a buck off of some stupid Nintendo fanboys. At 28 bucks a pop for those converters (including shipping), why not just buy the classic pad, I mean really...

There are those who grew up, myself included, with that controller and they bring back a certain nostalgic feeling a bit like meeting a long lost friend.I know I paid about $20 for a Genesis to Usb adapter so I could play all my emulators with a 6 button. I got tired of play Gunstar Heroes on a Sidewinder. It just wasn't the same.

Maybe because the Wiimote sucks as a controller?
