Tony Reali of "Around The Horn" introduced a segment discussing how the NBA likely wants to see the Lakers versus the Celtics by saying, "First we're going old school Sega Genesis... (http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?&brand=null&videoId=3353752&n8pe6c=2)" Might be lame to post about this, but I don't see the Genesis mentioned much in mainstream media anymore. He's alluding to "Lakers vs. Celtics," the first EA console basketball game which was named after those teams' rivalry.

That's actually sort of cool to hear it mentioned, esp with the "genesis" term. Most plebians just call it a Sega.
+1 respect to Tony Reali.

The shout out on "Futurama" is still the best.

"Fry, what in Sega Genesis happened to you?!" :) That was great, but the Parker Lewis episode with Altered Beast is my favorite.
