My local charity shop has a mint copy of this in for £1, is it worth me picking up or is it a complete pile of crap?

I have vague memories of playing it on a friend's SNES but can't really remember allot about it.

For me the game is a complete pile of crap. Not fun in anyway shape or form.

If it's mint CIB, and your looking to expand your collection I'd say go for it. But if it's to play. Stay far far away. Even for a lb which I believe is roughly 2 U.S. dollars it is NOT worth it.

It's complete shit. The SNES version is awesome for one reason:

I LOVE the music of the opening in the SNES version. I downloaded the rom years ago and I always have the rom on my HDD for that reason... I love it!

I do like the SMS and Game Gear version, and I never played the Sega CD version, and the PC version is really awful, but I kind of liked it for some reason.

The SMS version is awesome. The Sega CD version is okay but kind of sloppy. The Genesis/MD version is utter shite.

This game is the definition of crap. It tries so hard to be castlevania and its no where close.

Trust me, stay away.
