I've heard conflicing reports on this game. I bought it and I think it's a neat little game. I played it on an emu and hated it, but it's a lot better on a real console.

Pretty cool game, Sub-Terrania.. but for me two things hold it back from asskickery. Your fuel depletes waaaay too quickly, especially for a game that requires exploration of large subterranean caves, and what's with the gravity? Your ship will always drift straight downard at a sickeningly slow crawl regardless of how long you've been falling for, or how fast you were going before cutting the engines. The game's weak gravity is simply an annoyance, and while you can occasionally save fuel by allowing your ship to drift downward instead of gunning it, the fact that you can't drift at an angle means stupid amounts of fuel have to be blown to fly in those directions. I would be fine with the outrageous fuel consumption if the game gravity was expanded upon to allow your ship's momentum to carry you along on an arc, but.. nope.
Still a fun game, but damn, it could have played so much better.
Did it take anyone else the eternity it took me to get past that bloody level involving the laser-reflecting mirror? Good lord, that was annoying.

I hate it with a passion. There are so many annoying things wrong with the game.
This is one game that I sadly do not have the patience to play without a GG. Infinite fuel and rockets make it much more enjoyable.

Love it absolutely.
When I played it the first time I flew into a wall and exploded, but as I saw the beauty of the game I started to invest time in it. As I got better at it I could finish it in one credit.
Unfortunately many people never get that far, due to the steep learning curve.
Look at the replay that plays when you leave it on, not pressing start. Now that is how the game should be played! If you achieve such mastery you can truly enjoy the game.
Also it is the only game with an end boss named Sven. You need it in your collection for that reason alone.

When I played it on an emulator I hated it, but love it on the real deal.
It's unique, so I give it some props.

I was playing this the other night as this thread inspired me.
..and, yeah, I say it again - pretty cool game, but it's got some flaws, it does. Still, it's quite a graphical beauty, and the soundtrack is growing on me.
Overall, though, I'd rather play Gravitar. Man, I love Gravitar.
