Yeah that game was pretty awful. Nothing like the GBA version. I wonder if the same situation will happen with Sega's Bleach games which Sega is behind the NGC version and Treasure is doing the NDS version. Hopefully they'll both be good.

This game looks like it will be in the same vein as "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex". . .which should be a good indication of things to come.

With anyluck, Appleseed should be even better.

I'm actually intrested in Sega's new pursuit of anime/manga licenses. Although the Osuma Tezuka license didn't set the world alight,DORORO was a pretty decent game and Tresure's handling of ASTRO BOY was sublime. It's too bad they didn't do a console version. I for one can't wait to see how they will do BLACKJACK.

Sega always manage to do a licensed game justice where ever it was from(SPIDER MAN and the DISNEY games among their most celebrated work) and seeing that they're the only ones that have made or making any decent BLEACH games,the awesome HOKUTO NO KEN (FIST OF THE NORTH STAR)arcade game and another stab at DOREAMON I hope that they maintain this revigorated intrest in anime games and in the future return to do more licensed western comics and movie games.


Still from seeing the APPLESEED trailer i'm more curious to see how Sega will approch the elusive TRIGUN game that they were meant to be making for the ps2.
