Hacked E-mail

I checked my yahoo e-mail this morning and someone has changed my PW. When I tried to recover a new PW they had even changed my security question. I have had this e-mail for over 7 years. No one knows the pw but me. I am pretty frustrated as this e-mail account is linked to all my bills, friends, and job applicatins :mad: :mad: :mad:

Try this (http://www.diceware.com) to create a password that won't be guessed (easily).

The information might come in handy when you need to create a new one.

Have you tried sending an email to this hacked email account. There's a chance that whoever has it now might respond?

Don't use one e-mail for everything. Use one email for message board accounts, and one for real-life stuff that you don't share with anyone online.

I sent an e-mail. They didn't respond. I guess it was a lesson learned. I will use seperate e-mail accounts for different things for now on.
