Is the SEGA-16 Logo correct?

Is the Sega-16 logo the correct Sega blue? it looks a bit pale to me.

Buh. Really though, is there an "official" SEGA blue? All the stickers on my game boxes seem to be different shades.

Thats what I thought. I just figured it was a briteness discoloration in my LCD moniter.

Of course there's an official Sega blue! it's the colour of the blue skys in Sonic, Outrun, Super Hang-On e.t.c. :)

Sega changed their blue colour in the logo around the time they went out of the hardware business. I think having a different blue in this logo is good to show that this site isn't official or anything.

I never noticed anything different. Granted I'm not one of those guys who pays attention to every little thing or anything though.

That's probably just from the printing process. Different printers, papers, brands of ink and so on can change the color to be drastically different from what you see on screen. Also over time inks fade differently due to UV exposure so it is not a good way to tell what 'Sega blue' is.

Personally I think it is Pantone 286 CVC.
