Give me an arcade cabinet, a computer, and a cable modem and I can make this for you in an hour. I guess I would buy it if I was rich and lazy.

OMG lamesauce! LOL! At first I was about to defend it and be like "look, they paid to license the ROMs to play on MAME, that's why it costs so much," but then I read on and then I look at the games and how they're categorized and I'm like "do they make these compilations for PC?" and then I read "PS2." LMFAO! what a total half assed MAME cabinet, who the hell would get a MAME cabinet to run PS2 arcade compilations? I mean, I guess there are worse ideas and it is technically legal unlike real MAME sans a stack of PCBs, but still, wow. Well, hold on, lets do the math and see what this adds up to:
X-Arcade™ Standup Arcade Machine
FREE UPGRADE: X-Arcade™ Tankstick ($200 Value)
X-Arcade™ Console Game Adapters (Connect To Your Favorite Game Console)
27 " Industrial-Grade Monitor (1 Year Warranty)
Playstation 2™ Game System
Includes 205 Classic Games
Surround-Speakers With Subwoofer
Non-Functional Iron Coin-Door
Sliding/Lockable Keyboard Drawer
2 Rear Locking (Vented) Access Panels
110V Rear Cooling Fan
Interior Pre-Wired Power Strip
27" Arcade Bezel From Suzo/Happ™
Tempered Glass Protective Screen
Internal Shelving System For PC/Game Consoles
Control Panel Clamps & Hinge
Steel Monitor Mounting Brackets
Powder-Coated Marqcee For Pass-Through Audio
Storage Area Behind Marque For Games/Media/Audio
Rear Cabinet Handle
Industrial-Grade Wheels
Heavy Duty Cabinet Legs
Toll Free Technical Support
Lifetime Warranty On X-Arcade Joystick
So, thats the cabinet, the big ass arcade stick ($200 alone), a 27" monitor ($500 alone), surround sound speakers, all professional grade. Even though its super cheesy to use a PS2 to do it, I still think that's a decent value, especially for it to be already complete with no work on your part. Also, you can theoretically hook anything up to it, so its not too different from what I was thinking of making myself and it would be a whole lot less trouble. All in all, I might opt for it one day, or a version with no video game system included and just get a cheap PC.

I'd rather drop a couple hundred bucks on a Gyruss cabinet, but I can see where the idea comes from. It's like a super shitty yet expensive MVS.
