Lol at the first pic. Who's that jumping out the sky? R-E-Y! :ok:
I have to say, this doesn't really impress me too much. I hope it looks better in motion.

On a japanese site it mentioned that they modeled El Blaze after a WWE wrestler so it's probably true.

I don't like the looks of some of them.
And where are the gameplay details?

Well, at least they look like people this time rather than McFarlene action figures.
I'm sure Suzuki will ensure that the gameplay turns out just fine.

He looks like Johnny Bravo...
Anyway, it looks pretty nice in my opinion, nothing to do cartwheels over. I think they need to settle on realistic or anime inspired for some characters, when you mix both together, aka the second screenshot, bad things happen.
The ripples on the rubber mask of the first screenie are awesome, it really brings it into the real world.

I agree with you, Obviously. As graphics become more realistic, anime styles in game art are going to have to take a backseat, because anime just doesn't look good in a real setting. In a cartoony game, sure, but not on something like the Lindbergh. You end up looking like an idiot, as the picture above shows.
