DK's Ultimate Guides = teh awesome

I picked this up at Borders the other day and it is freakin' amazing. Everything about the Transformers is here, and it even puts all the series into chronological order, while attempting to make sense of all the cartoons, comics, and books.

I plan to collect the entire DK series of guides. You may have also seen their cross-section guides for the Star Wars ships. I'm still waiting for one for Star Trek.

Do they have a set of authors for their books, or could they let anyone submit an ultimate guide?

Cause if they accepted anyone, Melf could write the Ultimate Sega Genesis guide!

How big is that guide page-wise? A foot-thick tome of all things that transform?

It's 141 pages long, about an inch thick. Chock full o' info !

Wow, that definately sounds like a thorough book. Are all of the DK guides similarly priced?

They all cost $25, regardless of thickness. I got mine really cheap with a coupon from Borders (30% off), but Amazon has 'em for $17, regular price.
