Macross

Man, I've been watching the Japanese original, and it puts Robotech to shame. For those wondering, Macross was the first part of Robotech. I've started watching it today, and I've knocked five episodes down.

I also watched Macross Zero beforehand, which is the prequel OAV, and it was AMAZING, it was so beautiful and compeling, and the ending was one of the best I have ever seen.

This, school, and I have to construct a Genogram, ugh...

I just recently got both volumes of Macross Plus. Forgot to watch them this weekend.

I was going to collect the Robotech DVDs but decided against it, since the Macross ones are so much better. Where'd you buy them?

It has good video quality and a great translation, however, it's out of print, as the company lost the rights, and might be pricy. I got a used copy from a friend.

However, starting in January, ADV will start releasing Macross with a new dub. Don't count on Macross 7 ever being licensed due to only half the fans loving it, and it has TONS of licensed music. I still wish Zero was, because damn, it'd be great to hear it in an awesome 5.1 system.

I'm nearly done with my genogram (I put everything off until the last minute, nooo!), just got to put it on non-lined paper, and make a few copies. The two page paper is no sweat.

I always hate putting projects off until the last minute... >_>

I personally prefer the Robotech version but that's mostly due to sentimental attatchment.
