View Full Version : Shadow Squadron
Shadow Squadron is a great little game. In fact, it's one of the best reasons to own a 32X. If you liked Star Wars Arcade, then you're sure to love it. We've a full report (http://www.sega-16.com/review_page.php?id=31&title=Shadow%20Squadron) on it, so enjoy!

No linkey in the main page again. Good review though...makes me want to play it!

Cool game, Shadow Squadron. Playing on automatic mode is a drag, but there's some fine space shootin' to be had. There's certainly a lot more to it than DarXide..

This is the best game Ive played on the 32x so far. Much better than Star Wars arcade. I think ill hit this one on the Roundtable next month.

This is a boring shooter with no personality and style.
The level design is poor, and the weapons are a joke.
Why so many Amiga fans adore this game is beyond me.

Amiga fans?
To me the generic design is part of the appeal.

Yes Amiga fans, because this was first released on the Amiga 500.

I always thought Shadow Squadron/Stellar Assault was developed by Sega for the 32X. Is there video of this Amiga 500 version out there?
Also, the Feather 1 has the ability to fly straight through capital ships with the shield on and destroy them in a single hit. I know of no other 3D space shooter that has a function like this.
